First Musical Audition, First Musical Call back, 15th DAY!
Decided to audition for Oliver today ... sort of last minute... and went... almost didn't get out of the car.... walked inside .... saw Fernando and felt much more comfortableQ It was nice o have someone there that I knew! I will blog more about my first experience tomorrow after I finish my call back for Mrs. Sowberry :) @ 3!

Daily Practice Session
Technical Concepts - Today on my way to work I warmed up with some lip trills, goo-goos and some nay-nay-nays I did this three time through because I was having a little bit of a hard time relaxing... by the third time it was great tho. Then as I drove nervously to the audition I did another set of the same warm-ups bc I feel like they are so basic and I needed something that would warm me up but not stress me out. Then after the audition I did some more warm-ups... some ve-ve scales and some ve-ve octave jumps and then I did some of my favorite la-le-li-lo-lu and could feel myself getting stronger through that wonderful warm up. Also did some la-la-la-la-a-a-a downward thingies!
All together 35 Minutes

Repertoire - I worked on Stepsister's Lament literally 20 times today during lunch because I really wanted to make sure I had the words solid.
15 Minutes
Successes – I feel like this was the perfect warm-up for the audition and for today in general. I wasn't sure if warming up three separate times would work but it seemed to be okay... I felt really strong on the la-le-li-lo-lu!!!!!
Areas for improvement – I can't ever list enough things in this section... I need to focus on breathing tomorrow although when i was in the audition I seemed to just breathe so maybe I need to just shut up!
Notes: I love singing and am super stressed about some of the aspects of the competition.... Really stressed!

Meal Description – Today I actually ordered the right thing at Viet taste!!! I got to eat the yummy soup I was trying to order last time! Vegetable Rice noodle soup. So yummy! It has tofu, broccoli, snap peas, baby corn, zucchini, mushrooms, cabbage!
